I was contacted this week by a distant cousin. Hilbrand Rozema - a Dutch journalist - is related to the Kruizenga clan as follows:
Trijntje Sybolts - Gen 1 Jacob Cornellis Kruize - Gen 2 Hindrik Jacobs (1788-1854) - Gen 3 Harm Hindriks (1820-1857) - Gen 4 Hindrik (1851-1936) - Gen 5 Ido (1905-1975) - Gen 6 Cornelia Kruizenga (1948) - Gen 7 married Wessel Mattheus Rozema Hilbrand - Gen 8
Hilbrand was so kind as to translate the 1857 Marriage Certificate of Jacob Derks Kruizenga and Janna Nannenga which is posted here.
Also, Hilbrand has a lot of Kruizenga/Kruizinga photos which he will be scanning/emailing to me. I am looking forward to these new additions to the website.
