I visited Fairplains Cemetery today in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The snow is beginning to melt and it was a very sunny day.  First stop of my car - found Henry & Minnie Adema immediately.  2nd stop of the car I walked straight into section W and there was Jennie Adema staring up at me.  Albert was still buried in a bit of snow. 

Pictures are posted.  Will retake these come Spring when the snow is completely vanished - and I have given each of these stones a thorough cleaning.  :-)

Ruth 'Adema' Stempien and I chatted this past Saturday.  Very nice woman.  She has been so kind as to share information and pictures concerning the family.  This new information has been posted on the Derk Jacobs page and the new Minnie Kruizenga page.

Today I am writing to the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Jean Meindersma.  Jean passed away in 2005.  She was an older sister of Gerritt Henry Kruizenga - and the first born child of Derk Jacob and Katherine (Klooster) Kruizenga.

I am hoping that family photos were passed on in the Meindersma family. 

I have yet to find living relatives of Mrs. Henry (Minnie) Adema.  I will be writing them too - once located.
